RESPONSE OF LEMONGRASS CLONES TO ORGANIC FERTILIZER / RESPON KLON SERAI DAPUR TERHADAP PUPUK ORGANIK

<p>Lemongrass (<em>Cymbopogon citratus</em> Stapf) is a potential plant producing lemongrass oil and citral, widely used for food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical industries, traditional medicinal ingredients. Organic cultivation expected to provide healthy food The study aimed determine the production quality of several clones applied with an organic fertilizer at Sukamulya research garden, ISMECRI, in Sukabumi, West Java, from November 2019 June 2020. A Randomized Block design consisting two factors replications was applied. first factor three (<em>C. citratus</em>), i.e., a) Sukamulya, b) Cimande, c) Banten, d) one clone <em>C. flexuosus</em>. second (1 kg/plant), namely: control, cow manure, goat chicken manure. results showed that application derived manure could increase leaf length clones. Plant growth, including number tillers, height, length, pseudo-stem canopy, content, yield five-months-old citronella plants, were influenced by flexuosus</em> had lower mass weight than but higher content yield. Lemongrass each 0.82% flexuosus</em>), 0.30% (Sukamulya clone), 0.18% (Cimande 0.21% (Banten clone). highest citral produced (72.08 51.06 kg/ha) (69.91 54.27 kg/ha).</p><p>Kata kunci : clone, <em>Cymbopogon Stapf., fertilizer, yield</p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Serai dapur citratus </em>Stapf) merupakan tanaman potensial penghasil minyak atsiri (<em>lemongrass</em><em> oil</em>) dan sitral, yang banyak dimanfaatkan untuk bumbu dapur, industri farmasi, kosmetik, obat tradisional. Budidaya organik diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana penyediaan bahan lebih sehat aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui produksi mutu beberapa klon serai menggunakan pupuk organik. dilakukan di KP. Balittro, Jawa Barat sejak sampai Juni Rancangan Acak Kelompok dua faktor dengan ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah terdiri dari tiga yaitu: satu kedua jenis kg/tanaman), kontrol, kotoran sapi, kambing, ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi berasal sapi kambing meningkatkan panjang daun dapur. Kandungan pada masing-masing 0,82% 0,30% (klon Sukamulya), 0,18% Cimande), 0,21% Banten).
